### How do I earn SPROUTs? <a href="#how-to-earn-seeds" id="how-to-earn-seeds"></a>

There are several ways to accumulate SPROUT Points:

The most effective way to earn Sprouts is by depositing assets into OmniYield's vaults. The longer your assets remain deposited, the more Sprouts you will get.

#### **How Points Are Calculated:**

The amount of Sprout points you receive is based on the deposit amount and how long your assets stay in the vault. Specifically, you earn 100 Sprouts per day for every 100 USDC equivalent deposited.&#x20;

Asset values are calculated using average prices from the CoinGecko API, which is updated hourly. Points are tallied daily at random snapshot times to keep the rewards distribution fair and updated.

Examples:

* If you deposit 1,000 USDC, you will earn 1,000 Points per day.
* If you deposit 10 ETH, and the current price of ETH is $3,500, your deposit is valued at 35,000 USDC. You will earn 35,000 Points per day.

OmniYield will redistribute 100% of all airdrops it receives from other protocols back to users, enabling users to accumulate rewards on multiple layers simultaneously. We also enable a mechanism to distribute these rewards proportionally to depositors based on the criteria defined by the original airdrop issuer.

Refer as many people as possible with your invite code to earn Sprouts! Our referral program is designed to reward you for bringing new users to the protocol and helping us grow - it's a win-win!

#### How It Works <a href="#how-it-works" id="how-it-works"></a>

Each user gets a unique referral link after connecting their wallet. You can use this link to invite others and earn Sprouts when they participate.

* You earn 20% of the Sprouts your referrals generate. The more and the longer they deposit, the more you benefit.
* Example: If your friend earns 100 Sprouts/day, you earn 20 Sprouts/day, passively.

#### **How to Refer**

1. Connect your wallet on the <a href="https://app.omniyield.finance/" class="button primary">App page</a>&#x20;
2. After connecting, go to the referral section. There, you’ll find your unique referral link (e.g. `https://app.omniyield.finance/?ref=abcd123`) that you can share with potential new users.
3. Copy your referral link and share it anywhere. The more you share, the higher your chances of earning referral bonuses.

* Open OmniYield using your friend’s referral link or enter their referral code manually on the platform.

**How can I tell if my referral was successful?**

**Can I refer more than one person?**

Yes, there is no limit to the number of people you can refer. The more referrals you make, the more Sprouts you can earn.

**What happens if my referred user doesn’t use my referral link?**

For the referral bonus to be applied, the referred user must use your referral link during the wallet connection process.

This is designed to reward community members for contributions that extend beyond financial deposits. Participants can accumulate Experience Points (XP), which will be converted to SPROUT Points later on.

#### Ways to earn XP:

* Get involved on our [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/yfkgwu8dAr) and [X](https://x.com/omniyield) : Actively participate in discussions, help new members, join OmniYield events/activities, and earn special roles.\
  We have an internal system that tracks interactions on X and Discord, so the more you participate and engage, the more XP you’ll earn.
* Creative contributions: Write threads, tweets, and articles; design graphics, memes, stickers, mascots; or contribute in any other creative ways that support OmniYield. \
  XP here is manually reviewed and added based on the quality and impact of submissions.
* We may be rolling out additional bonus programs for earning XP soon.

About Discord invites: While Discord invites don’t directly increase your XP, they're recorded and linked to your wallet address. This data will play a role in determining your XP-to-Sprout conversion. Fake invites are detected and will result in disqualification.
