SPROUT Point Program

Introduction

OmniYield believes that early adopters play a significant role in the growth and success of the ecosystem. Therefore, to reward our foundational community, OmniYield will launch a Sprout Point Program.

The accumulation of SPROUT is not just a measure of contribution but also a stake in the future rewards that OmniYield will distribute. We're committed to ensuring that every action you take within the ecosystem leads to rewarding outcomes.

How do I earn SPROUTs?

There are several ways to accumulate SPROUT Points:

1) Deposit assets

The most effective way to earn Sprouts is by depositing assets into OmniYield's vaults. The longer your assets remain deposited, the more Sprouts you will get.

How Points Are Calculated:

The amount of Sprout points you receive is based on the deposit amount and how long your assets stay in the vault. Specifically, you earn 100 Sprouts per day for every 100 USDC equivalent deposited.

Asset values are calculated using average prices from the CoinGecko API, which is updated hourly. Points are tallied hourly at random snapshot times to keep the rewards distribution fair and updated.

Examples:

• If you deposit 1,000 USDC, you will earn 1,000 Points per day.

• If you deposit 10 ETH, and the current price of ETH is $3,500, your deposit is valued at 35,000 USDC. You will earn 35,000 Points per day.

OmniYield will redistribute 100% of all airdrops it receives from other protocols back to users, enabling users to accumulate rewards on multiple layers simultaneously. We also enable a mechanism to distribute these rewards proportionally to depositors based on the criteria defined by the original airdrop issuer.

2) Refer Others

Refer as many people as possible using your referral link to earn Sprouts! Our referral program rewards you for bringing new users to the protocol and helping us grow - it's a win-win!

How to Refer

Each user's wallet address is their referral code. To create your referral link, simply append your wallet address to the end of: https://app.omniyield.finance/?ref= . For example: https://app.omniyield.finance/?ref=0xb6dB96ccE1D436457D6538e187afe096e6E9E9A7

• When you refer a new user to OmniYield, you earn 20% of the Sprouts your referrals generate. The more and the longer they deposit, the more you benefit.

• Example: If your friend earns 100 Sprouts/day, you earn 20 Sprouts/day, passively.

• There is no limit to the number of people you can refer. The more you share, the higher your chances of earning referral bonuses.

Using a Referral Link

If you were referred to OmniYield:

1. Open the OmniYield App using your friend's referral link.

2. Click Connect Wallet and connect the wallet you want to use.

3. That's it - connecting your wallet with a referral link in the URL automatically applies it. You'll see a confirmation once it's applied.

4. As a referred user, you'll earn 5% extra Sprouts on all your deposits. Example: If you'd normally earn 100 Sprouts/day, you earn 105 Sprouts/day instead.

A referral link can only be used before your first deposit. If your wallet has already made a deposit, it's no longer eligible to be referred - connect with a referral link before your first deposit to lock in the 5% boost.

3) Community Contributions

This is designed to reward community members for contributions that extend beyond financial deposits. Participants can accumulate Experience Points (XP), which will be converted to SPROUT Points later on.

Ways to earn XP:

• Get involved on our Discord and X : Actively participate in discussions, help new members, join OmniYield events/activities, and earn special roles. We have an internal system that tracks interactions on X and Discord, so the more you participate and engage, the more XP you’ll earn.

• Creative contributions: Write threads, tweets, and articles; design graphics, memes, stickers, mascots; or contribute in any other creative ways that support OmniYield. XP here is manually reviewed and added based on the quality and impact of submissions.

• We may be rolling out additional bonus programs for earning XP soon.

About Discord invites: While Discord invites don’t directly increase your XP, they're recorded and linked to your wallet address. This data will play a role in determining your XP-to-Sprout conversion. Fake invites are detected and will result in disqualification.

The conversion rate of XP to SPROUTs is subject to change at any time.

Sprout points qualify users for the upcoming $OY airdrop, as these points are meant to reward users who contribute to the success of the protocol.

Every participant in the OmniYield ecosystem will receive points based on the time, duration, and nature of their involvement.
